Join Us for the 7th and 8th Grade Live Wax Museum!
Our 7th and 8th-grade students have been working hard to research and present on historical figures, and now it's time to showcase their efforts! We invite all families and caregivers to attend our Live Wax Museum on Thursday, March 20th, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in the HLP Commons.
Come support your student as they bring history to life through their fascinating presentations. It’s an exciting opportunity to learn about different historical figures and celebrate the hard work of our students.

Thunderbird Weekly Schedule 3/17 through 3/22/2025
Elementary Basketball will be returning to Hays at approximately 4:45pm. Please pick up your student at the high school. Saturday 3/15/25.
Elementary basketball in Big Sandy, Saturday 3/15/25. Depart Hays at 6:30am. Game times are girls 10:00am, boys 11:00am, girls 12:00pm, boys 1:00pm. Please have your students to the bus on time. Good luck Little Thunderbirds!

Parental Opt-Out Form
High School Spring sports begins after school at 4:30pm 3/11/2025. Parent handbook meeting will be at 6:30pm in the commons this evening after practice is done. This is for any parent that has not received an athletic handbook. If this is a student's first sport of the year, they will also need a sports physical before practice can begin for them.

Spring Sports practice will begin on Tuesday May 11, 2025, at 4:30pm. A parent spring meeting will also be held Tuesday May 11, 2025, at 6:30pm in the HS commons.
Elementary Drill team pictures will be Wednesday March 12, 2025, at 5:30pm
Location: Commons area at the High School.
We ask all parents bring their student(s). 1st-3rd grades will wear black pants with the white T-Bird shirt and high ponytail. 4th-6th grades will wear ribbon skirts with black shirt and jean jacket.
Ms. DuBray will have the picture packet forms if they would like them before the pictures.

Come join us for Family Engagement: Family Memoirs, where we will work on creating meaningful memory books for our families. This is a great opportunity to reflect on special moments, share stories, and preserve your family’s history in a personal way.

✔️ Family recipes to include in your memory book
✔️ Quotes or traditions that are important to your family

Hays Lodgepole 7-12 Honor Roll trip will be Tuesday March 4, 2025. Departing at 8:15am to sleeping Buffalo, then lunch at Stretch's after swimming then return back to Hays by 3:30pm. Permission slips were sent home, please returned signed for your student to go on trip. Any questions please call the high school at 406-673-3256.

Hays/Lodgepole 5/6 elementary basketball practice starts Monday 2/24/25 at 4:00pm in Lodgepole. This is for both teams. They will depart Lodgepole at 5:35-5:40pm on activity bus. Their practices will be Monday-Thursday. Here is the schedule of games for the boys and girls Thunderbird elementary teams.
District 9C update:
Hays Lodgepole girls fall to Fort Benton 43 to 40.
Hays Lodgepole girls will play at 8:00am vs Box Elder.
